The impacts
Since 2016, the Marc Saulnier Foundation has given more than $860,000 in donations and supported more than 35 organizations. Our approach is to lend a hand to fundraising events for organizations. This helps promote community action and the resourcefulness of charitable works.
In addition, our community mentoring is an intervention strategy that recognizes the potential of the organizations involved and their ability to find the solutions best suited to their situation themselves. It seeks to highlight the strengths and skills of different living environments so that they make informed decisions on their own initiative.
Some of our directors sit or have previously served on the board of directors of certain organizations supported by the Foundation to ensure that the organization receiving your donation optimizes its use.

Aux bord des mots
The organization Aux bords des mots offers help to newcomers in learning French and also provides support to people with writing and reading difficulties.
Groupe d’Entraide Populaire Lavaltrie
The Groupe d’Entraide Populaire Lavaltrie works to break the isolation and relieve the poverty of low-income people by offering several services. This includes a community kitchen program, a clothing counter and a community garden. The organization also contributes to the advancement of learning by offering seminars and training that promote the development of skills and abilities.
Action Famille Lavatrie
Action Famille Lavaltrie’s overall mission is to improve the quality of life of families in the Lavaltrie region and to promote the development of each member of the family in a spirit of prevention and mutual aid in partnership with the community. This mission is accomplished through the implementation of different activities and services adapted to the needs of families.
Comptoir alimentaire l’Essentiel
Comptoir food l’Essentiel feeds more than 200 families every week and also provides snacks to de la Rive high school.
La Guignolée de Lavaltrie
The main objective of the food drive is to raise donations in order to alleviate hunger during the holiday season.
TRuel
Truel’s mission is to reach young people and adults who are little or not reached by traditional services, young school or social dropouts who often no longer have any significant adults around them.
Le Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie
The primary objective of the Grand Challenge is to create a culture of preventive health in Quebec by leading people to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.
Le CAP
CAP is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help any individual or family who has difficulty feeding themselves.
Fin à la faim
The main mission of Faim à la hunger is to meet the basic food needs of these families in the Lanaudière region; The mandate is also to raise awareness of the phenomenon of poverty through testimonials, sponsorships and volunteering experience with the team.
Action Nouvelle Vie
Action Nouvelle Vie provides concrete help in a human way to people in difficulty, with an emphasis on the well-being of children and young people, in order to improve their living conditions and instill hope.
They aim to meet essential needs, while focusing on training and social reintegration, in collaboration with other partners working in our area of intervention.
Le 2159
2159 works with young people at risk aged 15 to 25 to prevent and counter homelessness, delinquency, sexual exploitation and the impacts linked to mental health issues. through accommodation, support and psychosocial intervention, 2159 aims to develop autonomy and social reintegration.
Fondation Claude-Édouard Hétu
Break the social isolation of young people by promoting, encouraging and supporting their projects. Promote the autonomy of young people through social integration. Support the transition to independent living for adolescents who leave Lanaudière Youth Centers and who are without resources. Ensure the sustainability of the foundation by raising the necessary sums to finance its activities.
